Choosing a realtor and investing in real estate are one of the most important decisions you will make, and it should be an informative, empowering, and rewarding experience. If you don't, call or email me and I will get your questions answered.  If you are a buyer or real estate investor, don't hesitate to take advantage of this market because the timing couldn't be better.  Lots of choices and price reductions.  In 2005, a buyer had on the average 1-3 homes to choose from.  In today's market a buyer is looking at an average of 26-30 homes.  Don't forget foreclosure properties and real estate owned by banks (REO's).  Talk about "buying power".  If you are a seller, now more than ever, you need the services of a professional realtor to help you navigate and get ahead of the variables that are "normalizing" the real estate market. In 2007, sixty percent (60%) of my listings went under contract in 6 days and that is not just luck. In 2008, it was a challenging year navigating the pitfalls associated with short sales, foreclosures, and news of our national economy in crisis. Yet the clients I faithfully represented came ahead with terms unseen in the past few years.
